Default Installing MAC6903W

I'm installing these 6X9's on the outside of my jetski. I saw another guy do it to his and he loves it. I just need to know if I have to put a bead of silicon or some other material between the speaker and the jetski body to prevent water from getting into the jetski.

Or, does the speaker package come with necessary materials, such as a gasket, to prevent moisture from getting in?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Bazooka Forum dmen. Yes, you will want to run a bead of silicone around the frame of the speaker to prevent water from getting into your jetski. After you get the install done, why don't you post back and put pictures of your jetski in the Bazooka Garage?

Thanks! I will definitely post before, during, and after install pics. Parts are on their way. Should have it all installed and on the lake by end of the month.

Well, the job is almost done. All I have to do is clean up the silicone around the speakers and fine tune the amp settings. But, here are the pics i promised.

I will show the amp install first.

Your jetski install looks great dmen, the MAC6903W and MAA465 look like they have always belonged there. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Dmen,
You should create a Garage Entry for your Jetski. Just hit the Garage Link, on the top forum bar and it should be self explanatory.

Kewl idea,
KF
