So how did it turn out?

I'm curious because I am in the process of upgrading my '05 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon w/7 speaker stereo systems speakers. I have already replaced the soundbar speakers with 6.5" coaxials and the dash mounted speakers with 5.25"/1" components. I now need to replace/upgrade the 6" console mounted subwoofer.

Thank You Re: OEM Replacement Woofers

I own a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am coupe ( blue, not that it matters ) and the woofers recently died. After doing hours of research for OEM replacements with no luck, I came across your forum. So I bought a pair of WF641.5DV woofers and installed them with little difficulty and they sound way better than the OEM ones. For anyone who has 98-02 Firebird/ Trans Am these are your best choice. The only 2 minor problems I came across were, 1) crimping on terminals to the existing wiring from OEM speakers which were soldered and 2) because the woofers sit deeper into the body than OEM I had use a speaker adapters/spacers so it wouldn't hit internal body panel. I will be spreading the word to other F- body fans about your great product. Thanks Bazooka.
