the amp is going into protection mode. Check the length of the power wire for no direct grounding, as well as the RCA cables and speaker wires to the subs.

As a rule of thumb, look to use between .75 and 1 lb. of polyfill. Make sure you have it spread out as evenly as possible, which is made extremely easy due to the cylindrical shape of the Tube.

Yes Sir, you have an A80, and in my opinion, the best amplified Tube that ever was. Indestructible and great sound, throw in a slave unit and you will rock the coach!

I would guess to say that you have an A80, but of course without pictures, I will not know for sure. As for the woofers, any of the current Bazooka 4 ohm drivers will work, or the DVC 8 ohm drivers...

On your Clarion headunit, is the red the switched +12V supply? If so, switch this to the yellow constant +12V supply. And where and how is the ground wire located?

You should grab a DMM and check for +12v at the Tube. If I am reading your post correctly, you are connected to the wrong source for power.
